I spotted this adorable little dresser on a Facebook sale site and I was immediately drawn in.
She was so perfectly cute and the wood was in such nice shape.
I had her delivered without having gone to check her out first which is always risky, but I was not disappointed.
I had to secure one spot that had gotten loose over the years, but she was a fantastic petite dresser – so charming!
I thought she would be precious in a nursery.
My original plan was white milk paint, but once I got started and had two coats on, I wasn’t feeling it so I decided to go with a completely different plan.
I threw on the brakes, changed direction and drove full speed ahead to Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint in Arles.
I envisioned her in sweet yellow with some handpainted drawer fronts – the drawers were flat without any detailing so it was the perfect piece to use!
I painted her in a couple of coats of Arles and then distressed her all over.
Distressing is my thang.
Then I sealed her up in Annie Sloan’s Clear Wax.
My goal was cute and cottage – my favorite look!
I did my handpainting in Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint in Old White after I chalked the pattern on the drawers.
When I am feeling creative, sometimes I just go with it.
This dresser was just that!
I think she came out pretty darn sweet! 
The knobs I added are cut glass cuties from D. Lawless Hardware which you know is my most favorite hardware company.
I highly recommend them!
They suit this dresser just perfectly!
